To overcome inefficiencies of conventional design methodologies, Sterlite Power deployed Bentley's Open Utilities Substation for 3D modelling and ProjectWise technology in the construction of PK Bari substation of Tripura for the NER-II (North East Region System Strengthening Scheme-II) project. This software solution facilitated the designing of the substation in a streamlined and collaborative manner, enabling Sterlite Power to detect problems early in the design process, leading to reduced rework and cost-efficient operations.
